Mary wanted to go on an overseas cruise. Being retired Navy, the idea of a "cruise" didn't exactly appeal to me. I told Mary if we were going to Europe, we would fly over, see everything we could and fly back.........No Cruises!! Being an art major, I have always wanted to go to Italy, the "Cradle of the Renaissance", so Italy it was. We spent two days in Rome, two days is Florence and two days is Venice and back to Rome for one last day. It was the most enjoyable and memorable vacation we've ever taken, and was topped off by being with the kids (Tom, Teri and the babies).
