Team Rackspace MS150 Ride of 2005
This was the first year that we ever had a formal "Team Rackspace" and rode together in the MS150. It was a blast, and most Rackers really stuck together during the ride. In the finish line shot above was sub-team "Casual Excellence" consisting of (left to right) Tim Schroeder (RTS), Marcus Robertson (Int), Tweeks (Man), Matt Montgomery (Man), and Wade Lewis (Man)... all 5yr+ Rackers bringing it home. The 2005 ride was long and hot. If you didn't get your mileage in in the AM, you were caught in 104degree heat (spiking to 120 in certain hot spots). Several of us slower riders got over heated, but sticking together and forming a drafting line was invaluable to our success!
