Yea.. I do the same,,, >Thanks for the suggestion! I have never been good a picking text colours. Do >you know of a website that explains the colour values? Umm.. I think you may find something on my HTML authoring page.... http://lonestar.texas.net/~tweeks/HTMLPAGE.html or for a color cheat sheet: http://www2.utep.edu/%7Ekross/tutorial/#hex The basic thing to remember about colors are that they is just your basic RGB color mixing... *assuming you know how to count in HEX (see the cheat sheet link above) red green blue #FFFFFF = FF FF FF = white FF 00 FF Bright Purple FF 00 AA Maroon AA 00 AA Medium Purple 00 FF 00 Bright Green 00 33 00 Forest Green get it? each color has a value from 00-FF (0-255) Check out the link above... if you still need help.. look for help on counting in HEX... I think you may ALSO be abel to define then in decimal so you can just use values 0-255... but I've nver tried. I've tinkered, and >it's pretty hard to tell with only 16 colours, Witha 16 color pallette.. it can be VERY hard trying to discern colors... always check them on a 256 color system... I guess on an AMIGA the easiest way would be to pull up your prefs pallete tool.. and adjust your sliders to play with the colors.. pick the color you want, and then use a calculator to convert decimal (0-255) to HEX 00-FF... You have a calc that does hex? Most high school scientifics do now... You could even get one for workbench... (get on Aminet and erach for "workbench" "hex" and "calc" Good luck!
