The convention for referring to people in terms of these IDs is to place a 0 followed by an x, and then the ID. For example, to sign your public key you could type:

pgp -ks 0xC778F0ED

instead of

pgp -ks endler

or even

pgp -ks david

To see a listing of all of the people on your public key ring, their IDs, and a list of signatures on each key, type: pgp -kvv. n
